Report management (subject to license)
All print logs can be changed or additional ones can be generated via the report designer. In this section, the given functionality of the report designer is only roughly discussed, limited to the necessity in the hose care system. All other functions of the report designer can be used at your own discretion, but no further documentation is provided. Alternatively, reports can also be ordered from LIS-GmbH.
Standard report: If there are several reports for this type, the standard report will be preselected when printing. There can only ever be one standard report for a type.
Note: The report designer is required for creating your own lists or changing existing reports (optional module)
All currently integrated reports are displayed in this form, with the Category showing the respective area under which the report is used and specifying the fields of the reports.
Save the reports
The Save button opens the Save reports as archive dialog for further interaction. In this dialog you can select the report(s) to be saved using the respective checkbox.
The grid layout is saved by selecting the checkbox. In the Storage location text field, select the same and leave a comment if you wish.
Grid Layout: A grid layout allows elements to be aligned in columns and rows, similar to tables.
Update Runtime References: Also called Runtime. Selecting this checkbox prolongs the report recovery, and it may also lead to complications. Therefore, LIS carries out the runtime update itself, or you as the customer are explicitly asked to do so by LIS Support.
Restore the reports
By choosing Restore you will be given various options to do this. If you decide to restore the “report file” (.repx), the Import report dialog appears. To continue here, make your selection.
If you select "Report archive" (.zip), the Restore reports from archive dialog opens for further processing. In the Archive file text field you can select the desired zip file. If you select the ▼ symbol to expand (drop-down list), you will be shown various information about this file.
The "Report Archive" offers further selection options, for this purpose select the report via the respective checkbox and 'Apply'. As a result, the recovery of the selected reports is now confirmed with their results and information.
Report processing - definition
Select the required category and select the 'Edit' button. Here you make the selection of the "Report definition" and can now 'Edit' the selected report in the generated dialog. Editing includes selecting the template, assigning a title, entering the file path and selecting the 'Standard Report' checkbox.
Note: The report type cannot be changed afterwards.
Report processing - template
The selection "Report layout" in the Edit icon generates the adjacent note in the Edit signed report dialog. The process is executed by selecting the respective button. The icon copy and configuration should be self-explanatory here.
The editing is divided into three areas, on the left are all configurable elements and new modules, in the middle is the layout editor and on the right are the available fields, which are provided based on the selected category.
List of fields
The fields available for the selected category are displayed in the list of fields. These can be placed at the desired position in the report using drag & drop.
If true/false fields want to be used, the checkbox can be placed under the building blocks in the editor and the corresponding field can be dragged onto the checkbox in the editor, thereby connecting them to each other.
Important: The fields can only be applied according to their detail report, otherwise only the first record is displayed.
Building blocks/properties
The building blocks form their own elements without a data record reference. Each item can also be bound to records if the category provides them.
The properties can be used to make changes to the design of the field in the editor. For example, a frame can be added around a text field.
Include detail report
A Detail report can be added via the context menu (right mouse button) in the "Editor detail". A Detail report forms a list as shown in the next image "Test reports". The fields of the selected type can only be used within the corresponding detail report.
Example: The detail report "Test reports" was added for detail. Within the detailed report, all data on the hose and the test itself can now be selected. These will then be output for all articles that were included in the print)*
